History

The Insurance Alliance of Central PA became operational January 1, 1997. Controlling interest in The Alliance was acquired by The Alera Group on July 1, 2018, and the name was changed to The Insurance Alliance Network to better reflect the renewed national focus.

On December 31, 2022, the non-Alera Group members of The Insurance Alliance Network, Inc. (Christian-Baker Company, Gearhart-Herr & Company, Inc., Harding Yost Insurance Associates, Inc., Hutchison Insurance Agency, Inc., Miers Insurance, Inc., PDM Insurance Agency, Inc. and The Stoll Agency, Inc.) purchased the shareholder interest in the organization held by former majority owner, Alera Group, Inc.

Human resource skills, such as compliance with regulatory directives and planning are available. For group benefits and financial services, we can review your current plans and make recommendations for improvement, whether you employ 2 or 2,000 employees.
